✦ fiction writer & certified overthinker
Welcome to the corner of the internet where plot twists are a love language and every character has at least one questionable decision. I'm Teya Wren, and I write fiction that sticks.
// the origin story
I started writing because I kept ruining other people's books by predicting the endings — so I figured I might as well write my own. Turns out, making things up is significantly more fun than being that person at book club.
I write fiction with humour, heart, and a suspicious number of characters who make terrible decisions. My stories live somewhere between "I can't believe that just happened" and "okay but that makes complete sense."
When I'm not writing, I'm definitely not rereading my own work and telling myself it's research.

EssaySpoiler: it's more fun. Also, they're more honest than any character who always does the right thing.
Flash FictionShe had exactly three minutes to decide. The clock didn't care. Neither did he. But the letter in her pocket had opinions.
